Hey all,
thought id just say hi and introduce myself down here in sunny wales.
ive been into photography for years and years in fact since being introduced to my fathers yashica fx3. after getting bored with my present career i was wondering how hard is it to make a living out of photography. im now on my 4th book on the subject and figured it time to join a forum and see whats happening in the real world. so if anyone has got any comments or pointers im keen to listen (or read).
another question at the back of my mind is how to i get from amateur to pro? talent aside what are essential books? is it worth doing a course to fill the gaps? are there blueprints building a portfolio for a selected discipline?
