I was wondering if anybody had done it and what the photo opportunities would be like

and any setup recommendations, the leaflet says no tripod and avoid flash so . . .
low light = nifty fifty ?

They have regular tours if anybody is interested, but you have to phone them in advance and book onto a tour.
There are the regular tours and they do specials for parties too.

Not done Taylors, but been to Whitechapel. Foundry tours are fun. Casting is fun wherever you see it being done. I suspect you won't get much opportunity for sparks flying type shots, cos they will keep you right away from where they are actually pouring; having said that my memory of Whitechapel is that it was quite dark in the bell pit works.

Nifty Fifty is a must :D
