I think so. I was drawn to his head and eyes, then the cute hand in mouth. Followed by mums tender grasp of hand. Well done.

Your eye is drawn around the picture in a circuit. Works very well. Well done.

I think it works. You've got a nice triangle going there with the mom, the baby, and the hands. A crop that takes out the wrist and the watch may benefit the photo maybe?
