Did I upset someone?? 70+ views and no comments. Please?...........
I sometimes wonder why no one comments on this forum. 50% of the images on here contain pigeons, so I wouldn't worry about it lol. I've posted a couple of threads lately which have over 100 views each but only a couple of replies. It's common place on here but don't let it get to you.
The third picture is the best out of the three in my opinion. This is because of the dude in the hoodie and the cans next to him. It's the feel of the image more than anything else that makes it what it is. The other images are fairly standard. One thing that is surprising though is that the artist was happy to be photographed and not request his face to be distorted. Were they painting a commissioned mural?
Note, I'm not a professional, far from it, just a n00b. So take my comments with a pinch of salt :)

Hey no pinch of salt required mate, i'm just glad someone commented. The guy in the pics has just come back from 2 years out of graffiti due to a little time indoors at her majesties pleasure. He was real sound, and wasn't too bothered about his face being in the pics, due to the wall of fame being a designated area. Thanks for the comments, i was beginning to think i had upset seomeone;)
Sweet, they have designated areas? I'd love to come down and take pics of the work. The only other designated area for Graffiti artists I know of is in Edinburgh near the University.
I used to shoot a lot of graffiti.. did a project while i was in barcelona once, all in film i'm afraid.. if i get chance i'll dig some out.
If you check out the local council website/ office they may be able to direct you to designated areas. One well known one in Birmingham is Selly Oak Park. I know some of the guys that painted there and they're all good eggs. That place has been tagged to death as well, which isn't really allowed ;)

There can be lots of reasons for little or no response, don't take it as a personal affront on your ability. Maybe the people who viewed it didn't feel qualified to comment, with 7000+ members there ARE members who feel like that.
I for one can only say that they don't do much for me :(
I'm sure he's a talented artist, but there isn't enough of the graffiti to show what he's actually writing thus i see grey shapes and not a work of art.
He'll never be able to sneak up on anyone though with all those cans in his pockets :D
i like number 3, as KayKay says has more feel to it. i think the others are let down by the graffiti not being all that intresting.
sorry KayJay dyslexic moment;)

There is also one in Swansea, beside the Swansea to Mumbles seafront Road.
I'm going to have to plan a tour this summer to check out these spots.

Check out Art Crimes website, last time i looked they had a good way of finding most of the designated areas if you look around. Also most of the illegal stuff is quite easy to find from there. If you do a tour and see anything by "NIOK" please put it up;););) I didn't have a camera at the time:lol:;)
