Hi all,

New around here to posting but have lurked for a while. Thought it was about time that I shared some pictures with you all after seeing some great contributions from all you guys :)

Nature photography is definitely one of my favourite areas, and I'm lucky to be at a university which has a fairly large nature reserve with two large man-made lakes. This series was from one of those trips early-morning with some fantastic light. I believe it was just after I bought my 40D and was eager to test the AI Servo autofocus.

Anyway, hope you enjoy them! I think the first one highlights one of the downsides with living with a bunch of students... ;)

Good set - I like the symmetry on the flapping duck in particular. Could maybe just benefit from a lift in levels.

Good point. Just gone back and added gaps on the post, thanks.

Yeah, they do seem a bit dark. These were all done on my old monitor which was not a particularly great one for colour work :) Just got my new 24" so once it's calibrated I think I'll have to go through some of these.

Thanks for the C&C, much appreciated.
