I think its a great effort really..I like it when you have to try and work out whats going on in the shot
Not sure what the girl has her hand on and the background a little bit of dark down her face but its the reflection of the ??? (whatever it is lol)
Well done though

She was sitting in a wingbacked chair...
what should I of done differently?
Perhaps Get Her Out Of The Chair And Onto A Large Plain Sheet. I Have Heard A Couple Of People Here Use King Size Bed Sheets, If You Hang One Down A Wall And One On The Floor, You Should Get "clean" Background And Use A Reflector To Reflect The Light Back A Bit Onto The Dark Side Of The Face To Lighten The Shadow, Perhaps A Large White Card If You Dont Have One? What Flash Did You Borrow?
But I Really Like It, Captures The Smile Well And She Looks Very Comfortable To Me. Perhaps Move The Hand Out Of Shot Next Time?
Thanks Fletch. They were just taken at home totally impromptu with no chance to think ahead IYKWIM. I have heard of using sheets and will give that a go. I can apreciate the chair has cast the shadow.
two canon speedlights BTW. Neither are mine...but my fingers slipped on my keyboard this morning and somehow I managed to order a 430EX instead of my food shopping. Oh well ;)
What A Shame, I Hate It When I Do That, Costs Me A Bloomin Fortune!!
Maybe I should go back to buying shoes and handbags.......cheaper LOL :suspect::lol:
