First impression? To lose the cars in the BG :)
Still a good shot though
If you were sat lower / in a lower position, could you not have reduced the clutter in the b/g to perhaps just the tirewall?
Just a thought :)

Thanks guys, i have been told about my backgrounds in other threads so i will defiantly keep that in mind when i go next. Is there anything else? As for getting lower, i dont know if you know oulton park but theres a big hill called clay hill there and this was taken on the steps by the side of that of hill so thats why its not down low.

I've driven it many times
Not considered some more sideways action at druids or coming out of shell oils?

slightly brighten it, and possibly increase saturation on the car only.

increase saturation on the car only.
How do i that? This may take some time has my Photoshop is playing up.
A trick you could use to overcome the cluttered background problem it to find an area of the track where the background is more pleasing and shoot a panned shot of nothing, if you see what I mean. Then you have a background you can use to replace the one you don't like. As an example, the blurred background above the crash barrier in this shot is not the original background from the scene, the original shot had loads of clutter behind the barrier ;)

HTH :)

use magnetic lasso tools to select the car, then increase saturation in the normal way. Just a smidge to give the orange a bit more punch

The colour in your first one was better IMO (at least on this monitor). The second one seems to be a bit overexposed. Did you adjust the levels?

Its a good shot, and I can see why you are proud of it :) I have just had a quick play in Photoshop, cloning out the cars and adding some saturation, also sharpening the car a bit, and blurring the background a bit more (mainly to cover my bad cloning)

Personally I prefer the crop, the cloned out blurred background just makes my eyes go squiffy

I personally prefer the picture to have a bit of space above the car so i like the cloned out one.
it may be a case of balance, the cropped version was only cropped significantly from the top. Try cropping it with a bit taken from the grass at the bottom so the car is sitting in the central third. Also lose a tadge to the right, there's a bit too much space behind the car, it looks better going into open space . . . oh blow it, like this, did a quick fiddle with level, saturation & sharpen too

I should have taken the top of the crop very slightly higher, but anyway, hope that helps.

Wookie's version is nice(r). If you're really picky, I suppose you can clone out the bumber. But it might be painful.
Good job.

i had a little play too, although i probably should have read the thread first, as it looks the same as Wookies
got to say that i'm not a fan of cloning anything out, or replacing backgrounds. IMHO the photo should represent a real moment in time, and not a lie...
