Have since moved onto some islands after cycling through France, Spain and Portugal. These are on the canary isles.

All on film. Fuji sensia. A few shot on my beaten and torn manual film camera. Sometimes I forget to focus and yes, I occasionally chimp.

This is a village called Masca. A pirate village actually mentioned in Pirates of the Caribbean. It is raining here despite being very tepid heat. The v seen here has the sea between it. Back in the day East African pirates would watch for ships passing and then set sail with a jolly Roger flag to catch the ships and their hauls.

The odd thing is that you cannot see the village from the sea.
