First attempt at blurring water.

Would welcome your view on the image below this is my first attempt at blurring water...

Never really tried this before and was in Hythe today after visiting South Foreland Lighthouse.

I was just playing with settings for a while, however I do not think I have quite nailed the process as it is not as sharp as I would have liked .... I think I will have to try the remote shutter release next time.

Nice shot - would have liked to see a little more sky contrast.

A remote shutter is convenient, but by no means mandatory - use the self timer/mirror lock-up on your camera and it'll shake even less.
