Can you ID these Birds??

I know they're not great shots, but I only have up to 200mm focal length and these images are 100% crops from grab shots out of the car window. They were taken a few miles away from each other at the valley of fire state park, nevada. I've no idea if they're the same type of bird but I'd love to know what they are. The first one was obviously on his favourite perch as there was a lot of 'evidence' of his being there... Hopefully, not too long before I can get a 2x converter and try and get some better shots out there. Any help in the ID gratefully accepted!

The second one maybe a turkey vulture.

1st could be a Red Tail Buzzard:-

I think the first is a Red tailed hawk, and i agree with Veracocha its a Turkey Vulture. Two great shots by the way.
