Hi all,

My first post here and thought I would jump straight in at the deep end lol. I have been watching (with awe) some of the posts in here for some time now and it's inspired me to go the DSLR route later in the year when money allows! For now I have a panasonic lumix, I took these shots a few days ago at "tropical birdland" near leicester. Would love to hear your comments;

Nice set :)

Makes you think twice about putting your finger anywhere near a parrot seeing them crack walnuts like that :lol:

Number 3's a cracker, great detail! I like number 1 also, shame light didn't quite get to the tails though (if you see what I mean)

3 is my fave too, I was really impressed with the camera as that was handheld at full zoom!

It was a great few hours out, well worth the fiver entrance if anyone is in the area.

Thanks for all the kind words :)
