A cool selection of different chopper shots Chris. That 2nd one is very nice.

I like the 3rd or the 5th best. Good set.

As far as helicopters go though, the 2nd one is definitely the coolest :P

Very nice. How do you get to take them? Mine usually involve pointing my 400mm up in the sky :(

1 = nice and crisp and I like that you can see the people on the grass
2 = WOW!
5 = love the difference between the dull sky and the vibrant copter and the pilot so clear.
As above, what do you use?

All the pics in this set were taken from the ground... albeit stood at some kind of 'elevated' postion
Camera used
Canon 1Dmk2N
Lenses I use are a different most times as I am fortunate to be able to Choose pretty much whatever Lens I want of Canons Lens Line up

The second one's got to be my favourite, is it an apache? How'd you manage to be on the ground yet so far above some of the choppers?

Ditto about the Apache... I love em
as for getting above them - I like finding unusual angles for my aviation shots.. so try to find the highest ground possible to get the effect of being 'air to air'
mountains high hills 'mole hills' if neccessary LOL
