As matt asked, please no deaths, serious injuries or gore. I know most of you well enough to know you wont post anything dodgy but it still has to be said.
Also, I politely ask that people only post one photo each.

Does it only have to be motor sport.
Well it is the motorsport section of the forum so yeah. What is it just out of interest?
It was a horse falling over a jump, it looked worse than it was.
I`ve found this, this caught me by surprise.

(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAXVN8FJaXM&NR=1) Funny for seeing the Marshals running across the bottom of the screen. And who can blame them when that car was coming your way. Well done to them for running towards the fire afterwards though. If they didn't turn up to do their job, we would have no motorsport.

I missed the begining of the crash from where we were standing, although I did get the car spinning as it came under the bridge. Some of those are a bit sharper. He was very lucky not to get run over. If he'd have started across the track less than a second later, he'd have been hit or started another crash. My son manged to film alot of the crash on his mobile phone.
Following the Ausi car I missed the Pakistan car making it's final impact.

I can't figure out how he did it but this buggy just crashed into a big minibus at a set of traffic lights. Only had the 300mm so couldn't get any further out.
Made me laugh though , there was a traffic jam behind them!

it happened because the driver of the battered red people carrier was overtaking in the middle lane reading a map, swerved into my drivers door when something overtook and startled her pushing me and the caravan into the hard shoulder barrier and spinning me round, the people carrier did multiple rollovers and trashed the central barriers. i had one trashed mondeo, i totalled 18month old caravan..
she got taken to court but got away scot free because she volunteered to go on a 2 hour drivers awareness course costing her £120....

got new caravan and car repaired via her insurance took over 12 months to sort as she said it was my fault i was in middle lane?!?!?! we had 3 witnesses who were directly behind the accident and all said she was to blame, the police blamed her, yet in pic's you can see my caravan tyre marks from the inside lane!
but couldnt claim pers injurey as she went on drivers awareness course the court didnt actually procesecute her so no admission of guilt so no claim. i did try....

Can I post a still image from our onboard camera ?
Matt Sayle
23-10-2008, 20:35
Do it :)
Will grab a still tomorrow, but meanwhile here is the footage from my onboard camera system installed on our car
http://www.vimeo.com/2044404
The exciting bit happens towards the very end, so wait until its downloaded and then watch from about 14m onwards. Our car OK, but it shows the dangers of open wheel racing. Our car was chasing 2nd position overall, came across two backmarkers. One runs wide, the other dives to the right to take advantage without realising there is a car already there. Tristan sees him and keeps right as much as possible, but a bump spits him back onto the circuit. Tyres touch and its a red flag...
If it was saloons it would be a trip to the paddock for some T-Cut and buff out the damage.
A Montego dumped oil during the prevous race which explains the cement dust down. Marshals applied it pretty liberally though!

Thats when the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place people all spin out on oil. Marshalls didn't know oil was there, so couldn't alert drivers.

Stuart Tilley's huge crash at the Oulton Park Gold Cup earlier this year. He touched wheels with another car coming into Island bend, which flicked his F5000 car up in the air, and this is the result. Thankfully he was pretty much ok.

For me it has to be this sequence of 19 shots from the 2005 British Superbike Championship at Knockhill.
Lee Longden was highsided from his bike during the Supersport 600 race at the Real Radio Hairpin. The two following riders Lee Dickinson (47) and James Storrar (54) had nowhere to go and couldn't avoid hitting the stricken rider.
Miraculously, Lee suffered only bruising and was back on his bike racing soon afterwards.
