Kite Surfing (I think??)

The beaches were unusually windy today, although these guys seemed to love it! :shrug: it was freezing! I don't do sports photography, so forgive me if these aren't up to standard!

They were quite sharp (yay me!) but having resized them, they don't quite look as sharp :(

Did you sharpen after resizing?

yep thats kitesurfing!

they all look a tad soft (sharpening?) but they show lots of action.


incidentally where were these pics taken as it certainly doesnt feel like shorts and tshirt weather in britain!

Thanks guys, glad i got the title right! :D

Gutted about the whole sharpness thing, but overall quite chuffed i suppose, i was trying to get these shots whilst the beach was beginning to flood!

Hats off to the guys in the water, they showed no fear, the winds were that strong, i struggled to open my car door!

So did you sharpen before or after re-sizing? It makes a big difference. :)

As a kitesurfer and a snapper myself, may I suggest you guys offer the pix to the surfers concerned for a very modest fee? One guy on my beach uploads the random pix to a website, the address of which he puts under the windscreen wiper of each car. People can contact him through the site if they see themselves and want the full-sized image. Us surfers LOVE any pics like these great ones here that show us looking cool! :-) I would be very pleased if I were the subject in these, nice one!
