I really like the last shot. Nice exposure and POV, with the horse providing a nice focal piont. well seen.

No 4 is my favourite. I like the big stones for foreground interest and the moody sky. It really reminds me of the Presselli mountains near to where I live.

I really like number 1, Love the colours and the fact the sky differs so from one side of the shot to the other, and that the ponies are all watching something, makes me want to know what it was and what happened next. Who could ask for more.

No1 for me, classic shot, it must have taken you hours to train those horses to stand exactly where you wanted themy to for the best composition ;)
I'd possibly clone the quarter rock bottom right?

Great set there the b+w just edges it for me
funnily enough i think the mono is the least successful but thats just my opinion. i really like the rest of them a lot. especially the ponies.

1st on is a bit flat for me, I really like number 2 and 4 though.

Some good images. No 2 and 4 are my favourites like the composition and the cloudy sky in both which gives the pictures a moody ambience

Thanks for all the comments - Such a wide range of preferences not just for content but also for how we 'see' a image.
The Horse's in the first shot were looking at my son who was being unusually brave and stroking the nose of a horse that had wandered across to see him, i suspect the others were monitoring the situation in-case any food appeared;)
