Took this shot of my daughter reading a book, she didn't notice thankfully!!

I think it looks better in B&W rather than colour, as I was going to get a print run off of it as I really like it as it catches her eyes really well.

Apologies for the links but I can't seem to post attachments? Any clues to that?

B&W - http://andykendallpictures.smugmug.com/gallery/3279089_SA5aN#275619461_GZDQR-A-LB

Colour - http://andykendallpictures.smugmug.com/gallery/3279089_SA5aN#274348998_TM8CM-A-LB

any useful C&C would be good as well....

I don't think the colour version really works. I'd have B&W or B&W with selective colouring on the eyes :)

Nice shot by the way!

B&W for sure. I like the way the light comes over her right shoulder and this loses something in colour. :)

I agree, like the black and white better although I think it might be worth playing around with the contrast or lighting on photoshop to see what difference that made....a really lovely shot though! :):D

going against the grain, kids should be in colour - I think they nearly always look better.

this look any better with a bit more punch?

anyway, I think if you could fit more of the book in it would give a better idea she was actually reading?
