Taken early one misty morning blending the sky and water into one.

I like it but my eyes keep being drawn to the post sticking out of the water, perhaps clone it out
I could see this on canvas hanging on many walls

I like it, be nice with a bit of noise reduction and that stick removed

some strange banding though, was it a very high ISO shot?

I'm starting to have a complex about that stick now :suspect:

The sun was quite well up and the lighting was a bit strange on the mist causing the banding. The picture looked slightly 'grained' due to the mist so I purposely accentuated it.

I like the grainy look I think it adds to the atmosphere and ambience of the whole scene :)

Bazz,Remove the boat and keep the stick:D Seriously,it is part and parcel of the shot that you took,if you take away the stick ,it's no longer the photograph you set up.It was right at the time so dont get worried about it,it did'nt affect my appreciation of your photograph when I first saw it,and it does'nt now.

I think the shot would be too minimal without the stick. It adds a focal point. The shot would be boring without the boat or the stick. It is an atmospheric shot with just enough detail. Just my thought on it. And hey Im a newby so bash away if you think my comments are wrong. That is how I will learn.
