Last day of the holidays today here in the Arctic circle so we had a "back to school" with my lad and two of his pals. We booked them in for some training with downhill guru Chris Ball and we travelled down to Dunkeld for a three-hour session.

the lads had a good time, learned a lot and are now looking to putting their new learned skills to use at the opening round of the Scottish series which starts this weekend at the same venue.

This is Ronan dropping in to the "pinball" section, a section that is full of off-camber rocks that bounce the rider in all directions....

The colours on those are excellent, especially considering it looks like the light might not have been the greatest..... Which 300mm is it could I ask?

No. 1 would probably be my favourite of that bunch.

Good series, and the images have a narrative behind them. First is the pick as Ronan looks as though he's going to explode from the screen.

Good series of images Gary but the first and last stand out for me.
