My first landscape!

I couldn't resist having a shot at the snow, it all looked so lovely, However, I although this is uncropped I seem to have lost a lot of detail when re-sizing for web and sharpening made it worse. Any tips? What could I have done differently or better? Any help appreciated! :D

You could have opened the window :D

Assuming it was sharp to start with then it looks like a further application of USM needed after web resizing

The window WAS open, Cheeky! :D

And yes the camera was outside the window too! :p

I hope you didnt have Joe in your bedroom.........well I suppose even the young'uns need some time to recouperate!! :D

Nice to see you found something constructive to do while you waited! Beats looking for cobwebs on the ceiling!! :D:lol:

No Janice, Joe was no-where even close! :lol:

I had to go to work the morning the snow arrived, was gutted as I only got a really small amount of time to shoot before I had to go :(

It's quite a pleasing view. Take no notice of oldgit, I think he's a bit griumpy ! ;)

Ta. The snow came down so quick and thick that it just settled unusually. Mind you once the clouds went and the sun came out all the snow went in 30 mins. About 15 mins after I took this it was mostly gone.
