hi all
this is my first go at hdr photos this image was shot at the eden project in cornwall, i am using the trial version of photomatix hence the watermarks. what do you think?

The foreground looks very dark on my monitor, and the blue/aqua sky looks very bright, and I don't feel that the composition helps the image much tbh, it's too central.

this image really isnt one for hdr..
try another with some nice sky in it :)

thanks for you comments, a new question then is what makes a good htr image? what kind of scenes, lighting conditions etc?

HDR is defined by it's name. high dynamic range, generally it requires more dynamic range than a camera can handle in one single shot.. i.e. a good range of dark shadows, and also bright highlights.
