Hmm, might be interested, depends on when really.
I can recommend the zoo though. Especially for Lemur photos. If anything they can get a little too friendly.
Might be able to do a weekday as well if I have enough notice.

I too was recommended this zoo, I'm a member of Chester but apparently South Lakes is amazing, sort of raw?? And being in Cumbria also means its in heaven?? If you decide to go, post on here, I'd be up for it. And use the motorbike to get there, bliss.....

If your riding there on 2 wheels, you could well be walking back, it's so long since I sold my beloved Goldwing I miss riding 2 wheels now especially as you say in 2nd heaven of lakeland. I'm a bit busy for the next few weeks but keep posting & those interested can make arrangements I shall fall in with whatever is decided. I'll be ok for May onwards (I think)
PS I can make weekday's or weekends

coming from london, depending on if i am working i would love to come
i'm free on sundays and mondays usually and will be up for it, it's a lovely drive across the moors too :D, i'll let you sort a date out and let you know :)
Been before, and it's great! Can get much more up close and personal than Chester, esp with the giraffes at feeding time. I'll keep an eye on this thread, would definitely be up for a return journey one weekend.
Cathy
Do they still put the tiger food up telegraph poles ? So the tigers climb for it ? :)
I may be up for a trip up, may have to make a weekend of it though ;)
I'd certainly be interested in this as it's pretty close to where I live.
Think I might need a longer lens than 50mm though :)
Hi Ian
They certainly do, and the view is great from the raised, unobstructed, viewing platform, need to get in position early before feeding time to beat the crowds!
Cathy
may have to hire a lens for this one, 120-300 F/2.8 :D

Further round the walkway you can lose the fence, its a battle to get a space though, have some shots somewhere but my filing system leaves alot to be desired, lol !
Wow, must have been going through an 'organised stage' found very easily, lol !
Not great images though.

Seems to be a lot of interest, most people available weekends, I can make it any day so if we want a visit soon then how about sometime middle of May, pick your weekend folks or any other day for that matter. I'll start by suggesting weekend of 17 May.

Yep, sorry but I won't be able to do that weekend either. Its our big fundraiser for the Rescue. Dog Show on the 17th and big sponsored walk on the 18th. Staying at the hotel in Eskdale all weekend.
Will hopefully get some nice photos though. Normally get around 150 Staffords on the walk.
Now I've worked it out I'm going to struggle for weekends till mid July, just because of preparation for that weekend and I'm away two weeks in June which takes away 3 weekends.
If you do decide to change the date I might be able to sneak a day either w/e of 24/25 May or 31 May / 1st June.
Have fun.

Probably best if you all just decide a date for June and like I said I'll have to delve back through your shots when I get back of my hols.
