As you say nice to see some spring colour. :thumbs: and well done for posting your first pic on the forums, and straight in at the deep end;)
It's a slippery slope from here on in :D

Picture looks a bit odd, not sure what it is but I think it may be oversharpened a tad.:shrug: Seems to be a bit odd around the actual flower

I think it was because the original DOF was too shallow, then it was post-sharpened, which gives the outer flower that odd not-quite-sharp-not-quite-blur look.
