Hi all,
I was a little blurry eyed when I took this. It was 6.30 am. I woke up noticed the snow, woke up my boyfriend (on his day off - felt really guilty! lol) to come out with me to Lydiard park in Swindon, Wiltshire.
Just as we approached the park i noticed the way the snow had fallen on these trees & snapped.

I would love to know what people think?
Any pp you would do?
Cropping improvements?
I'd like to get it perfect before I have it printed.
Thanks for your time.

I like the effect however the compisition would have suited a centre of the road style shot IMO?
Looks great none the less, very cool what the snow has done.

Like gary said, perhaps a symetrical shot would work a little better. Apart from that its a very good/unusual shot
I quite like the composition as it is...a lovely shot! Nice pale colours :)
Nice shot well done. I like the composition atm although i tink it will also work well in the middle

I agree the middle would have been nice. There was lots of rubbish on the left side of the fence i was trying to cut out.

I would have liked it better with the far end of the road tending off higher (1/3 of the way down). Perhaps that might have been possible with your camera street-height?
As for the PP, that's hard to say from here. Definitely you'll want to rotate the picture (clockwise) so the far end is level. Try doing a black and white conversion, and play with the channels to see if any of the conversions suit the picture. If you're going to keep it in colour, you'll need to adjust the white balance -- at the moment, the snow has a bluish tint to it.

I like it, and the blue sky finishes it, I can feel your cold and blurry eyes

The main reason people are suggesting a central composition, I feel, is that there is only the road as the subject. You would have got away with this composition had there been something about two thirds down the road so your eye could "stop" a while. Without this the eye searches around, finds nothing and the finger hits the "Next thread" button ;)
PP wise the cold blue suits the scene so all you needed was company.
