Superb series Alistair, there are quite a few about now, I saw my first Bee fly today but didn't have the right lens on :lol: have you got a Bee fly yet this year?

Alby, i saw my first and second one on saturday, but damn if i could get close to them, twichy little buggers arent they? This is my first spring shooting macro so i hope to see more.

beautiful shots there :) - how are these lit? just natural daylight or do you use a macro ringflash affair?

Just purchased a 100mm Macro and am hoping to start shooting something soon.

Thanks everyone for the great comments, i used Canons 430ex with a diffuser made from a coke can covered in a layer of kitchen towel, invented by Brian Valentine (LordV).
