very cool, but for me, I would crop top off, makes for a better composition, less clutter but still retains the 'context' - gorgeous and sharp though, and liking how the surround is dark as it brings out the whiteness of the bloom :thumbs:

I think No1 is a nicer composition but just needs a bit of a tighter crop.

Great photos and would look even better I think if you crop a bit tighter and rotated 90 degrees clockwise :clap: Pin sharp and great exposure - excellent. I would have to clone the pollen off the petals though ;) but that's just me!

:) Thankyou everyone for the kind words/tips. I found this in my local pub LOL. It was on a table about 3ft from a window, and it was a cloudy day, so not much light. I asked the landlord if I could photograph it, which he agreed, so proceeded to whip my tripod out. I bet he thought I was mad!
