Finally managed to get a picture of a living insect...:)
1) Probably could have done with a bit bigger DOF on this. (and for it to stay still for a bit longer)

The first could have had more dof but the second isn't to bad at all, even if it is dusty :).
Wasps always make excellent shots, if you can try to get some light on their eyes and it makes them really stand out.

As i just seen with your stunning shots - i will try again if i can find a friendly wasp ;)

I think this one was having gender issues, it was just crawling all over one of my wife's Many shoe box's and appeared very reluctant to leave.;)

as you say a little more DOF in the 1st would work wonders, but then .. there's always next time??
