hi im new to this site im gav
I have got my self a sony dsc h9 cam and a chepie tri-pod and I want to take pics of whildlife mainly birds of pray how do i go about this? i have the shot i want in mind but just cant get it I practice on swans and sea guls just cant find the birds i want to photo i live in cheshire any one know whats the best place to go

Try Martin Mere - always plenty birds there

:thumbs:Go to martin Mere. Lots of birds there. Most Swans may have left by now but there are a lot of " captive" animals and loads of Geese. Buy some feed from the centre, to attract the birds.Many are so tame they will eat out of your hand.

They have a lot of exotic birds that will allow you to get reasonably close. Also don't be afraid of lying down to photograph the birds,get down to their level, just make sure people don't fall over you.
