hI,
Just joined am a member on a number of other photography sites, but you can never be a member on too many.
There is always some new bit of info you can learn
Was using a Fuji s7000, but just upgraded to a Nikon D50 which i pick up on friday.
Welcome Mark. Nice upgrade there. :)

thanks for the welcomes, i went to the shop and looked at the Canon 350d and the Nikon D50, but the Nikon was £140 cheaper and the Canon didn't seem to be that much better (if any) to warrant spending the extra money.
You are very welcome here no matter what make or standard of camera you use, we are glad to have you join us :)

Its a very capable camera - and as people will keep saying, its the photographer that makes the photo, not the camera:thumb:

Well some good news, my s7000 has sold for what i wanted for it, so all steam ahed now. Go and collect the D50 tomorrow afternoon, i'm like a kid at christmas again.
