"Support groups" / type club threads

Is this viable to explore the option of having a "D3 owners thread" or a "1Ds Mk III owners thread"?

That way folks who have specific enquiries with specific bodies can access a select audience for help:shrug:

It's possible, but I would have thought it better, if anyone has a specific query about a particular camera, to start a thread in Cameras&Equipment with the camera in the title.

So in effect, you're getting what you suggest above, just lots of threads :D

Whenever someone recently got Brand X model Y body they possibly want to aim a question at a very specific group of peeps.

Those general threads tend to fade into obscurity or attract attention from clueless non-owners...
