Now I know that this is a BIG thing. Im just testing the water really.

I want to go to Alladale Wildlife Reserve in the Scottish Highlands. 1 hour from inverness.

I was thinking of a group of us going to stay nearby for a long weekend as a photography weekend.

My mrs just doesnt have an interest in photography and I dont have any tog friends other than TP so I thought it may be a great outing!

lol I know its a big thing but if I could get some intial interest I would be willing to do the research into prices etc etc and lead on it.

Im not thinking of Alladales accomodation, maybe something a little cheaper!!

As for dates etc etc thats something i'll throw into the topic. Summer could be very expensive and busy. Winter could be too cold?

Maybe a comprimise of late August or early mid September? Gives us time to save the pennies too? Maybe the autum colours could be coming through?

I got the impression you could only use the reserve if you stopped there. Is that not the case?

I dont know how as the acomodation only holds 16 people, so unless the reserve limits it to 16 people I dont know how they would expect to attract visitors?

If someone has come from Australia to visit scotland and then wants to see the reserve, would they not be able to as there not staying there? Sounds a bit weird, ill look into it.
