Hi All,

Found these photos interesting..:-)

French photographer Cedric Delsaux has created a series of photos where he puts Star Wars characters and vehicles and transplants them into modern day urban locations.

That's such a great idea. Would be really cool to set up, could do other stuff too, like kung foo carpark, lol. Anyone be interested in getting something together?

Its something thats been in the back of my mind for years. However theres a fine line between cheesy cosplay and really well done art. This guy has achieved what I've had in my mind, annoyingly :)

Yeah I can see it being like that, however with a bit of thought and a solid theme worth a try. Won't know it until you try it. What sorts of scenes?

how about someone choosing a character from a picture

say 'captain scarlet' for instance - create a cut out of decent size

then given a certain length of time to create a backdrop - photograph of their own - to polace the chosen character picture into?

for example - could be fun

Oh I have the location, time of day, and entire image in my mind. I have done for years. I've got the processing technique to pull it off but my one fear is that I as a photographer will produce something tacky. It really needs the right model too. His work has really inspired me though. Yup yup, ideas I have.

or you could achieve the same thing by going to a star wars convention dressed in the right gear and pretend to be in a box.
