We had like a table top night at our camera club last night and I took some of these shots.
I know they're not LL and LP standard...but hey-ho!
Most of these were only taken really close with my 18-70 but then i did borrow diddydaves macro lens, which i am now itching to borrow again. :lol:

Comments really appreciated. cos this is totally new for me!

1. Highlights look a little blown but compositionally nice and interesting.
2. Colour looks a little dull.
3. Need to adjust black level.
4. Really nice, could maybe do with more space round it.
5. You could easily sell that as stock. Excellent.

Look good to me Adele. Lady Pitstop has been very quiet on the flower front lately!!

Thanks for the comments Gary...I didnt realise no2 looked as dull when resized as it did as big.
The highlights in 1 are not blown I have checked....they're tetering on the edge...
3...i wasnt really a fan of shooting the orange on the black. :lol:

I think 4 is one of my favourite pics from the evening.

Lovely set Adele, I think a nice blurred layer would soften them nicely and give them that nice smoky feel. I like them as they are too ;) Couldn't help myself and had a little play Adele hope you don't mind? Think I might have gone a little too far though.

3 & 4 are nice, personally not keen on the composition of 1 & 2 but thats just my opinion, but I love the strawberry shot, nice composition sharp and I like the lighting.

Yeah - only because they werent taken in the landing studio! These were a proper table top thing - with studio lights not a 60w bulb!
