Appleby Horsefair - 4th to 11th June 2008

Im not sure if im going to be able to get there (If I can find a way to get there then i'll be there), but a heads up for a good photography opportunity;

Appleby Horsefair on 4th to 11th June 2008.

Its a huge collection of travellers and horses ("At fair time up to 1600 caravans are parked on the hill, ranging from the traditional horse-drawn vardos to modern units towed by cars."), with horses being washed in the river. Should be some good shot potential. :thumbs:

I would agree with you, some of those horse drawn vans are beautifull, I would love one, I would love to go.

Maybe, I had friends there snapping today and they said it was amazing, Sunday is the big day really but will be kind of in the area so may drop in !

Id have loved to have gone to this myself today but couldnt get there, so I hope someone here brings us back some pics.
