All with a Canon 1DMK111 and Canon 70-200 F2.8 L IS USM with a Canon 1.4 Extender.

They are all good, but the Nuthatch stands out......:thumbs:

The mute swan is very good as well, nice to see one in action rather than sat on the water.....:thumbs:

There is not a lot wrong with any of those PL ... :thumbs: ... a superb set of images imhgo ... :clap:


The unknown is the female to your Goldeneye ... ;)

Nice one Phil, That swan shot is superb, my bluddy panasonic struggles to focus quick enough to catch moments like these !

love the swan there is only one pair at my local park female on the nst and the male patrolling around snapping at kiddies who put their hands down to stroke or pat :cuckoo:

Some twitchers gave me the ID on the cole Tit and Blue Tit.
Will have 2 get a bird ID book I think.

I used to live in Hyde all my life, moved to Ashton last year.

Were you in the hide at etherow for the smaller bird shots?? I never manage to get anywhere near that close without one!

I was in the hide, I placed the branch in the ground in front of the window of the hide. I then put seed down in front of the branch. I also have a camo net that I hang over the window and shoot through that. I have a bit of an exhibition at Etherow in the canteen area on the right as you walk in.

Ive seen it...theyre all fantastic shots!! Was stood admiring it for a while the other week hehe!

These are fab, I have a loooong way to go to get up to this standard, but its great to see such lovely photographs. I particularly like 1, 5, 6 and 7.
