That's overall a very good shot - would have been better if you hadn't missed out the duck's foot but then you might have chopped off the head of the one at the back so nothing you could do really. I'd also lighten it slightly, otherwise great work :)

Nice shot. Good clear image miles better than any bird shots I've ever captured :thumbs:

Its a nice sharp shot, just as mentioned, could do with a bit of a lighten.
You were just a step too close here, you realise! One step back and you could have captured the head of the rear bird and the foot of the front one. Alternatively of course you could have startled the little blighters and not got a shot at all! Beautifully sharp and a nice example of the lovely colours and feather patterns in your common or garden mallard.
