I think this is one of the most glorious parts of the country at any time but at the moment, it is nothing short of breathtaking in these here parts.

So I thought I'm going to put aside a day for myself to roam, enjoy and with a little luck, chance and the right light, make some images too.

There are bluebells, bright yellow fields, green hills, great sweeping valleys, stone circles, charming villages, and tea shops that do fabulous coffees and very naughty cakes.

I was thinking the Saturday or Sunday of the bank holiday weekend, which would be the 3rd or 4th depending on when/if folks would like to come along, or the better looking day for light.

I will drag along great bags of canon, mamiya (digi or film) and bronica stuff, which folks are most welcome to borrow as I'll probably shun it all in favour of my little panny lumix. :)

Have been brought up in Wiltshire (Westbury and Melksham) and now living in Gloucestershire, I'd have to give Gloucestershire a slight edge ;-)

I'm up for it Daz,

Give me a shout on the usual number bit nearer the time.

I haven't been out landscaping since December for one reason or another so will be good to get out!

I would imagine West-woods is ripping with bluebells at the moment along with the rape seed fields out on the downs between devizes and marlborough?

Work has dragged me over that way lots over the past couple of months and it is a great part of the counrty. It can't quite make me feel the way the marlborough downs and the ridgeway can though

It's busting out from the seams around here at the moment. A great time to get away from all the agents and houses to treat ourselves to the good stuff.
