View Full Version : Yellow Legged Gull (Larus michahellis)
Captured this the other day with my dad's 70-300 IS Lens. Nicely coloured for a bird that can be a pain the ass at times ;)

Well it's certainly a Gull ... ... and it certainly has Yellow Legs ... :D ... clearly the naming committee had trouble being original with this one ... :suspect:
Excellent shots Mike ... ... really sharp and you have exposed them well to stand out from the background ... ;) ... lovely clear images ... :D
:p

Yeah, they should have called it the Lesser Black Backed Yellow Legged Red Ringed Eye Gull so as not to be confused with the Herring Gull
I always think green is a shot like this really helps, oops did I say green

Crisp and clear-with gorgeous whites.
Thanks all,
not bad for a reasonably cheap lens.
