ALL good shots again. I really like 6) apart from the colour of the sky. I see you are getting good use out of that lens!

Great shots, like the Kites

There is something about a Heron in flight that remionds me of a Pterodactyl. Good kite shots as usual Les.

Stonking set!

The ducks and the heron for me - the ducks look somehow surreal in that flight pattern and the heron simply majestic (and pterydactylian as Neil says!)

But not a duff one there! Superb!

A great set again Les, were the Hawks flying upto the back of the house or over the himalayan garden bit ?, might have to have a trip up there on Saturday.

First and last are well nailed Les. I find more clarity here than in the 40D shots, not that i can tell from web compressed shots of course.

Good shots Les. My favourite is the heron. He looks so majestic from that angle showing his full wing span

Great Set but number one is my favourite - now if you just had him looking directly at you it would have a really threatening feel to it :)

 All superb Les.
Kites are tremendous, but I agree with Darkstar and Billy and my vote would be the 3 mallards...Very unusual shot.

#'s 1+3 for me, how lucky do you have to be to get these kind of shots ? Or do you just sit and wait ?

What a set of photos. Those of the Kite are brill:thumbs:
That capture of the malards, with them all having different wing positions - wow.

See ya got your 40D then?

See ya saturday.

THe kite shots are excellent, just a shame the background is a little distracting.

Still excellent captures of a beautiful bird in flight.
