The Bluebell one of our best known wild flowers. I've given it the high key canvas treatment. I've got my arty head on today

Yes Alby, I agree it is a slaughter. I'm looking forward to seeing your usual type of photos of those bluebells.:gag:

It's quite nice but i'm not keen on where the reflection on the glass is affecting the stem.

ah no, someone's hacked Alby's account. Don't worry mate, we'll find them and get normal service resumed asap ;)

As it's a big image I scrolled down to see the glass, and then thought I'd preferred it beforehand when I couldn't see the glass - just crop it at the glass and put the same border on it and I think it'll be a beautiful pure & simple shot

Lovely stuff

Alby isn't that what's desolving in the glass?

 Just kidding of course. This could actually look quite nice on a note book cover or something. But I do agree with chopping the glass off

Jo, it reminded me of a watercolour painting which was the effect I was trying to achieve. I think you are right a square format of just the flower may have worked better. Thanks for looking anyway. ;)

Not original, but I agree "off with the glass"
