Took it at a wedding last week, converted it to black and white. Taken with a high ISO so it's very grainy, but not sure if it works!

:agree:
They are too far left. The woman in the flowery dress is the center of attention and distracts from the happy couple. I'm going to have to give a No. Sorry.

No I'm sorry I don't like it either. Maybe you could crop the happy couple in portrait mode and get rid of the guests. I would then adjust the levels to give more contrast, and run it through noise reduction software.
My eyes were drawn to the flowery dress to then I looked and saw the wedding couple
I'd crop it, either a heavy verticle crop, or just to the left of the flowery woman (clone out her elbow) I'd also look at increasing contrast slightly and running neat image to get rid of some of the noise on the walls.
I think it does work, although the background is slightly distracting as said. I thought it might look a bit better if you blurred the background to emulate a shallow DOF at a large aperture - hope you don't mind, I had a quick go at it so it's not that neat around the edges

I don't like the blurred background. It's still too distracting. Just crop the guests out, improve levels and reduce noise.

I think the hand on the right hand side also needs cloning out, but getting too tired now - it's midnight.
I like the last 'vertical' crop of the shot, it lets the happy couple be the center of attention.
Even if the blurred background did a huge amount to improve the 'punch' of the picture.. it still leaves the couple very much to the side of the shot...
I actually like the original shot, If you could take that camera out of the flowery womans hands I think the shot would be totally timeless.
How about this crop, just got rid of the flowery woman (Only because of the camer otherwise I would have totally left it as it was), I've left the grain from the high ISO as I really like it.

Totally timeless in my opinion :)
