ah! need help with macro

heys, im rach :)

i am a newby to photography and have only been doing it a few months, i have recently started exploring into macro.
i bought a +10 macro lens for my camera, the mistake i made was buying a cheap one meaning blurring and so on occurs, i really want to give macro ago but i dont own a SLR camera, my camera is a kodak zd710, i want to get a macro lens for it anyone know the best which isnt to expensive, my lens if 55mm,

Welcome to the forum.....

I don't have any experience of your camera so have just done some reading to see what it's all about. The first problem you would seem to have is that your viewfinder is electronic rather than optical...this makes manual focussing very difficult. Moving on from that I've just seen a couple of reviews that don't rate the macro ability of the camera too highly!
A +10 diopter might be pushing things a little too far and you might be better off with a +4 and then cropping the image later when you can judge what detail may be lost and add a little sharpening into the process.
