EF 50MM

Hello all,
A quick question, I have bought an Canon EF 50MM 1;1.8 lens on another forum, it is the older metal mount one.

After agreeing to buy it (£65, no going back now) I had a flash of panic, It will fit a 400D won't it?

I know my kit lens is EFS, I presume the S bit is just something to do with the smaller sensor in the 400d?

Panic not - it'll be fine. ;)

EF-S lenses don't fit certain camera bodies, but EF lenses fit all bodies.

good price for it too, usually go for about £90 - £100 on the bay :)
