Hi I have been asked for some advice on a budget compact digital camera...I have always held the fuji's in high regard but wondered if anyone else had any suggestions?..They just want a decent all round performer and are not looking to expand into dslr territory..so ease of use and maybe size should be taken into account..their budget is between £100-£150 really appreciate any input...:)

The Canon Ixus range are well worth a look, pretty good IQ, easy to use and fit easily in you pocket.

Forget the £30 back offer it ended 31st March and it was for the Powershot models. But £130 is still a good price.

I used the Kodak P880 for a while and it was an amazing compact....
I now use the Canon IXUS 75 when I can't use my 350D...
Amazing compact
