St George's Day celebrations in Birmingham today so I had a rather long day walking around taking pics. Good fun. Might upload some of them at a later date and show people but people seem to upload great photos on here with no fear so I'm a lickle shy in that respect :suspect:

But this is my first HDR so I figured what the hell, just go for it.

A bit mixed with this HDR stuff as a whole. I've seen some really amazing stuff done with it but I'm not sure if its a good thing or not. And I think this one might look a little too much like just some standard effect used on Photoshop. No idea really. Thought I'd just throw it out here and see what the reaction is. Haven't quite decided myself yet.

There are a few halo's around the trees
The whole image is leaning slightly to the right
But all in all a good image and first attempt

Yep I'm with the two previous posters about the lean. Its a subtle use of HDR and the only reminder is the halos which can be managed with some judicious slider work in photomatix (if thats your program!)

Yes just straighten it up a bit and it will look good.

I'd be interested to see the original, just to see if its had any effect on the dynamic range of the image. The technique is best used in high contrast scenes.
