d40 kit lens on a d200

Just a quicky! Is it possible to use the D40 kit lens on my newly purchased D200? Don't fear it wont be on there for long, just got the d200 today and fancied a play before my lenses arrive, so i figured i'd nick the girlfriend d40 lens.

My only question is i think the d40 lens has an internal auto focus motor. Will this mess up the d200 or are they compatible??

Most decent lenses have an internal focus motor, so that's not going to be a problem!

Whack it on and go and have a play.

Yeah it will work. Ive used the 18-55mm on my D300 a few times and it works perfectly. :)
