Nice shot, but don't like the golden glow.
I agree. Nice shot, but far too yellow.

It's a nice composition, but I think the bottom should be cropped to the doorway. As others mentioned, the yellow balance is not really appealing. You might want to see if you can adjust the hue and yellow balance to something a bit better -- if not, try a black and white conversion.

I like it, hue and all, great viewpoint and processing for me!
The only tiny tiny niggle is its not quite straight by a gnats nut. The central line at the apex of the roof skews to the left a bit going down the picture but thats minor stuff.
Its a great shot!
 I like it, though I think to carry that yellow glow, you need to just bring out the details a little more, make them a bit sharper - BUT, having said that, it could just be the shrinking for web that has softened them, so that really is only a minor crit. Like John, and probably because he has mentioned it, I can see its not spot on straight and finally, there appears to be a bright red thing top LH side that would benefit from either some blurring, or better still, cloning out :whistling: :p
Great pic rocket

Like it. Great angle and I like the yellow
I think the yellow issue is a persoanl thing, you like it or you don't, although i have a feeling it does not show so much on my monitor, But i did use a yellow filter in PS...
have you HDR'd it? Yes a small use in Photomatrix..

I saw a similar image showing a brick path leading down a lane, i felt that it might work here. was undiced to use the floor or not so opted for what you see above.
here is a B&W.

Thanks Dd, I have sent myself cross eyed trying to find somthing that might well not be there...
like it in mono but your highlights are now blown. I miss some of the floor. If there isn't any more then I agree with Theo on cropping a nats off to take it up to the door. Nice shot over all though :)

Hi Mohain.
I have changed the settings and reloaded the BW above, just brought down the brightness and cut off the bottom.
Thanks for the input..
The top few millimetres still show your background layer where you have rotated it, mostly noticeable in the original post.
The background at the end of the tunnel looks kind of stuck in to my eye but that's just because of the path showing as white maybe?
Great pic all the same, The colour version really picks out the dirty brickwork and both colour and mono pics have great highlighting from the windows.

Interesting observation on the rotation, I had not noticed that.
On my next visit to these Cloisters I need to direct the ca\mera to the other end, as there is a real nice door, which would be much more attractive.
Thanks

OK OK, I fell for that one, if the image needs to be adjusted it would have to include the Championship and Premiership cups which are coming this way, proven last night :D..
Nice one you really had me going there.
