Nah I find wallpaper an annoyance so stick with a plain background (teal in case anyone is interested) I've kept the same basic look since win98 :)

marky_h,

Great desktop, and yours is one of VERY few that I have seen where you have your Task Bar at the top of your screen, where it's more logical to have!

Could you please tell me how do you capture your Desktop picture in a Mac?

Thanks

Thanks Wail :) I have this debate all the time with people....in every application, menus drop down, so they should do on your OS too? Seems logical to me!

IanC_UK,

Could you please tell me how do you capture your Desktop picture in a Mac?

Thanks

if you have Leopard its cmd - shift - 3 :) should save it as a png file to the desktop :) will then have to change it to jpg (i did it in Photoshop)

Ian I'm surprised your dock can stay up under the weight of all those icons

Wail
30-04-2008, 18:31
Yup, when I was using Windows machines that is where I would have it placed too. People would be like  but I found this arrangement to be so much more "natural" to my work habits ... it was, oddly, more relaxing for my eyes!

Wail

Ian,

Thanks for the heads-up .. it worked under older OS too! :)
