COD4 mainly at the moment for me, under the name 'The Cyrusian'. :)
I'm on X-Box Live! Gamertag: Garry79 usually playing COD4 or Halo 3 but I'm working my way through GTA IV at the moment.

Isn't everyone? :D
If they aren't then they should be!
can i ask...how reliable have you found the 360? On some fanboi sites they say its 100% reliable, where other sites say its not, and news reports say as much as 30% failure rate, im interested in getting one now, the price is right, but is it likely to break?
COD4 still for me :)

a bit like me:shrug:

I've had one replaced after the dreaded RORL, but that was one of the early ones, and I think the newer ones are a) more reliable, and b) come with a longer warranty IIRC (at least against the RORL).
Depending on your requirements, the rumours at the moment are that a Blu-Ray version will be available around September, if that's any interest. :naughty:
I'm on my second one too (also after RROD). Had mine since release and it was repaired a few months ago. I think the newer ones are much more reliable though.
i heard the bluray rumour too, cant see it myself, MS dont care for media, they want everyone to download, but they are piddling in the wind with that one

Apologies for going off-topic but my son keeps pestering me to set him up on xbox live with his 360 and I've tried and tried but failed miserably! :bang: :bang:
I was connecting the xbox to their PC with an ethernet cable and the PC has a wireless connection for the Internet, I was following the on screen instructions to no avail. Can anybody help?

I still have a similar problem getting mine to talk to my PC, for some reason it won't talk to my machine running XP (though it seems to likes the laptop which runs Vista). I reinstalled all kinds of things to try and get them to talk, but couldn't (even hard wired into the PC). In the end up, I bought a wireless bridge for the 360, and I hook up directly through my wireless router.
Could you not connect directly through your router too???

buy him a ps3, PSN is free, and seems to be very much more reliable now, i was playing COD4 over the weekend and had no issues, even a spot of F1! It helps that my internet connection is now proper too...

The PS3 is awesome, until you've finished the 3 half decent games available for it!! ;)

i counted at least 4
:D It's a great machine, just a pain to program for according to the game producers. From what I can gather the PS2 was the same, but they still managed to get a lot more games out there than the PS3 has managed so far. The only saving grace for the PS3 is the Blu Ray technology, though I fear if they'd gone down the HD DVD route, the PS3 would be dead as a dodo by now.
PS3 needs good quality software, quickly!!
