Wow, this is impressive, sharp and the detail is great. The yellow coloured part of the skin looks almost like sweetcorn. :)

That is one very sharp and well exposed shot, mayhap a teeny bit dark on the end of its nose ?
I know next to nothing about snakes, but I do like that shot

I like that. You could have got much the same composition with a straight snake but the angle has given that great change in the light angle and made the skin texture so interesting.

It's obviously tack sharp and the exposure looks pretty good. A teeeeeny niggle could be the light fall off towards his/her nose but that could be dodged in easily enough if you wanted to.

I do get the feel that there could be a slightly better crop in there somewhere if yo had a play with the amount of black space and where the eye ends up in the frame.

Thanks, I'm not sure how I could improve the end of the nose area, I think it may look unnatural lightened.:thinking:
