Canon AE-1 problemo

Afternoon

I have my AE-1 and it is spitting its dummies out at me..

Everytime i try to roll a film back up once i have used it, it rips it to shreds or wont budge at all....

Is the wind on release pin depressing properly

It goes right down, wont go any further...

There is a small black button underneath the camera on the wind on side, that needs to be pressed down or it won't wind on.
